How does the Auto DJ mode work?

When you select the Auto DJ mode Ibizaah! will attempt to cross fade sound between videos automatically.
Auto DJ will only work if you have more than one video queued in both, left and right playlists. As long as Auto DJ mode is on, Ibizaah! will keep looping through all the songs in both playlists. Automatic crossfading starts about 12 seconds before the current video has finished. When the current video has 17 seconds left Ibizaah! will attempt two different things depending on the state of the opposite player:

  • if the opposite player has a video cued or paused, the opposite player will resume playback
  • if the opposite player is stopped, the opposite player will attempt to load the next song on the playlist.

Minimum System Requirements

To run Ibizaah! all you need is a Internet browser and an Internet connection. Running two YouTube videos side by side is very demanding for your computer and for your Internet connection.
To run Ibizaah! smoothly make sure you have none or very few other applications open. Older systems will have difficulty running Ibizaah.
For best performance make sure you meet at least these requirements:

  • DLS, Cable or higher bandwith Internet connection
  • Minimum Monitor Resolution: 1024 x 768
  • Adobe Flash 8 plugin or higher
  • 1GB RAM or more
  • Browsers supported: IE 7 and 8 (PC), Firefox 1.5 or later, Chrome, Opera 10, Safari 3 and later (Mac).
  • JavaScript must be on

Adding YouTube Playlists from Ibizaah!

Just enter your YouTube username and press enter. Your playlists list will load and then simply select which playlists you want to load and its target. You can choose Left, Right, or Both. Both distributes the songs evenly between both players.
If you uncheck the checkbox that says “Overwrite Existing Videos” the videos will be appended to the existing ones. By default, that option is checked which means that when you load a new playlist, your queued videos will be cleared and replaced with the new ones.

NOTE: Some times you will notice not all your playlist videos get added. Ibizaah! only loads active videos and some of your YouTube videos may have been removed from YouTube.

Search results don't load

Sometimes, the first time you run Ibizaah! the search results may not load or the search boxes don't work. To solve this issue, simply reload your browser once. If the problem persists try to reload the page again until it does. If after a few attempts you get no results, just a wait a few minutes and try again later.
Ibizaah! uses the Google video search API to retrieve YouTube video results so the problem may be that Google servers are temporarily down.

The Auto DJ is doing weird things

To fix this switch off Auto Dj mode and switch it back on. If this doesn't solve the problem simply reload the page.

When I run Ibizaah! my computer is very slow!

Running two YouTube videos side by side is very demanding for your computer.
Make sure your computer meets the minimum system requirements for best performance.

Some videos from my YouTube Playlists are not loaded, why?

Some times you will notice not all your playlist videos get added. Ibizaah! only loads active videos and some of your YouTube videos may have been removed from YouTube. YouTube continuously removes content that infringes copyright violations or is inappropriate. You should scan your videos regularly and delete those that have been removed by YouTube.
